Gayle M. Braley email: gbraley@damantelaw.com Probate LitigationGayle has participated, with Attorney Richard Couser of this firm, in a number of probate litigation matters with seven and eight figure values. She has also handled a full range of other issues before the probate courts, including defending fiduciaries and seeking judicial interpretation of wills and trusts. Appellate LitigationGayle has handled numerous appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and has participated in many other appeals before both the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Estate PlanningGayle assists clients with all aspects of estate planning including advance directives, wills, and both revocable and irrevocable trusts. Religious and Nonprofit OrganizationsGayle counsels religious and other non-profit organizations on a broad array of issues. Her goal is to help such clients "do good better" through attention to details of their organizational structure, federal income tax exemption and lobbying issues, and state property tax concerns. She has successfully represented nonprofit clients in matters involving the Internal Revenue Service. Gayle has also lectured on a number of occasions both locally and nationally on tax issues relevant to religious and nonprofit organizations. Gayle is an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Concord, New Hampshire, and the leader of a Concord area Girl Scout troop. Her other charitable commitments have included serving on the boards of directors of Volunteer NH!, the Concord Trust for Public Education, the Concord Pregnancy Care Center and the Junior Service League.
